Baptisms of children, newborn to age 7, are available for registered parish families and take place on the second and fourth Sundays of the month at 1:00 PM.   Prior to the celebration of Baptism, parents are required to take a Parent Baptism Preparation Class which is usually held on the first Thursday of every other month.

Parents are asked to bring their child's birth certificate to the Parish Office in order to register for the class and to make arrangements for the celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism. You may call the Parish Office for more information at 773-767-1523.

Non-baptized children ages seven and above are required to be enrolled in Religious Education before the celebration of Baptism may occur. Please contact the Parish Office for further Information regarding the Baptism of an older child.

Sacrament of Holy Baptism

Are you unaware that we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? We were indeed buried with Him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live in newness of life.”        Romans 6:3-4
